We built this because we needed it.
Clearphone started as a personal project. Our founder realized something wasn't working. He was scrolling mindlessly. So were his friends. So was everyone around him. We looked for a solution and couldn't find one. Not one that was honest, practical, and respectful. So we built it.
How it started
One morning, our founder picked up his phone 47 times before breakfast. He hadn't done anything intentional on any of those unlocks. Just habit. After the 47th unlock, something clicked. What if the design of a phone could actually support your wellbeing instead of working against it?
He started experimenting. Hiding apps. Creating Focus modes. Building Shortcuts. Pairing wallpapers with intentions. Within a month, his screen time dropped by 2 hours a day. More importantly, his attention improved. He felt calmer.
He shared the system with a few friends. They tried it. The results were consistent. More focus. Less distraction. Less guilt about their phone use. And then those friends shared it with their friends. And now here we are.
Clearphone isn't a company trying to maximize engagement. We're not tracking you. We're not selling data. We're not running experiments on your attention. We built this because we needed it. We're sharing it because we think you do too.
